Teacher Intensive Style

The retreat is for the ashtanga enthusiasts. Anyhow, we will be discussing various different approaches and how to apply them in individually different contexts which makes it far more practical for teachers than so-called commercial "teacher trainings". It's all about the real life, isn't it?

Grischa unterrichtet nur 2-3 seiner super intensiven Ashtanga Retreats pro Jahr. Lerne den prinzipienbasierten Ansatz der traditionellen Ashtanga-Vinyasa-Methode verstehen. Überwinde die Ursachen von Verletzungen, verstehe eine ganz andere Dimension von Pranayama. Verstehe den Sinn aller yogischen Praktiken mit Hilfe des Yoga Sutra, der Bhagavad Gita und anderer Schlüsseltexte. Intelligenz ist der Lehrer, nicht Dogma.

The standard price for my intensives is €700.
Through this initiative, you are invited to pay anything between €0 and €1400, depending on your financial situation.

Need sponsorship?

If you are truly in financial need, you are welcome to join even if you can afford nothing. However, to respect this community spirit:

We do not indirectly fund ecologically harmful behavior. If you are planning to spend money on flying abroad for whatever reason (fun, Yoga, etc.), you are not in need at all.
Savings must not be used for commercial workshops or profit-driven teachers without social initiatives.

We are pointing this out because these are especially painful (and sadly typical) ways of abusing the generosity of your sponsors

Becoming a sponsors

I believe no sincere practitioner should be excluded from authentic Yoga because of money. Over the past 25 years I have sponsored hundreds of practitioners and teachers, even though I struggle financially, too. Especially since the covid lockdowns I have accumulated 25.000€ in debt.

If you have a more solid financial background, please consider your respobsibility and give more. Let's make a difference whereever we can. Yoga is about developing a differnt mindset in which wellbeing of others is more important than selfish pleasure or profit.

My Dream for Yoga

Yoga should serve the common good — not selfishness, not profit.
I want all dedicated practitioners and teachers to have access to the authentic tradition, regardless of their finances.

Yoga must rebuild strong, local communities.
It must help protect our planet, not fuel climate damage or social inequality.

How can anyone grow rich without growing greedy?
And is greed ever appropriate for a Yoga teacher?
